As part of Reception’s topic, people who help us, the police came to talk about their role.
They talked about stranger danger and road safety. The children were then shown the police equipment and said hello to the control over the walkie talkie.
They excitedly tried on the various types of police hats and best of all experienced sitting in the police car with the lights flashing and sirens on!
It was brilliant.
