On Friday the 14th of June, we went to pupil parliament at county hall of Nottingham.
The Olympic bronze medal gymnast Sam Oldham came to tell us about his career and achievements. Next, we had a debate if the government should start a war if there are people in the country who don’t agree with it.
Then after a long debate everybody was ready to vote so we went outside of the room to put a token in a ballot box that said yes or no on it. A week after the debate, the votes were counted and the majority was NO, the government shouldn’t start a war if there are people in the country who don’t agree with it!
