Class 1 had a fabulous Seaside Day in school on Wednesday 12th June as we’ve been learning all about the seaside for our topic this half term.
On our seaside day we learnt all about the seaside and when seaside holidays became popular. We found out about the different activities that were on offer at the seaside. Including Punch and Judy – we were treated to a very fun ‘Punch and Judy’ show. We all enjoyed this very much.
After the show we were told about the puppets and how they worked and shown inside the puppet theatre.
What a busy morning! In the afternoon we got to see the puppets close up and made some careful observational drawing of them
