This week we’ve been marking harvest time and celebrating Daisy Day at school!
Each year group enjoyed a harvest celebration as we considered what made us thankful – ideas ranged from food and water to our friends and family.
Via Microsoft Teams the year groups were all able to watch and enjoy each other’s performances:
The Reception class sang so enthusiastically about a Big Red Combine Harvester!…
KS1 performed a version of that classic harvest-themed story, The Enormous Turnip and KS2 gave us a fantastic rendition of a Harvest Rap and read out Autumn poems.
In a special assembly, we also celebrated our annual Daisy Day – when we think about and raise money for our Kenyan friend Daisy, whom we support & sponsor through her schooling.
