Each year our School Council decides how we will mark Children in Need and raise money for good causes.

This year the children chose to hold a Children in Need disco, so rather than dressing up, the pupils and staff came to school in their own party-ready clothes!

Children in Need’s vision is that every child in the UK has a childhood which is safe, happy & secure, and allows them the opportunity to reach their potential. These values chime with our school values and we are always very happy to support the cause.

After learning about what Children in Need actually is and how the money they raise helps children in the UK, our pupils gave a donation and were given free rein to party the afternoon away in the village hall!

As a school, we raised £162.45 – thank you to all the pupils, staff and parents who got involved and donated.

If you would like to donate, you can do so by following this link to the BBC website.
